I stumbled across this interesting article the other day on the origins of General Tso’s Chicken, a classic in Americanized Chinese food. It’s a good read.
The writer does a great job of tracking the origin of a dish born out of Chinese and American tastes.

they have changed the menu a bit. new ownership i think.
